Split Summer Festival (Splitsko Ljeto)

Established in 1954, this is one of Croatia's oldest cultural festivals. Running from mid-July to mid-August, it features a diverse program of opera, theater, dance, and music performances. Events are held in various historic venues, including the ancient Diocletian's Palace.

Ultra Europe Festival

A major electronic music festival attracting attendees from around the globe. Typically held in July, the festival features performances by top international DJs and artists. The main events take place at Park Mladeži stadium in Split, with additional parties on nearby islands.

Split Film Festival (International Festival of New Film)

Dedicated to showcasing innovative and experimental films, this festival usually occurs in September. It presents a range of works from international filmmakers, including feature films, documentaries, and multimedia projects. Screenings and events are hosted in various venues across the city.

Days of Diocletian (Dani Dioklecijana)

A historical and cultural event that transports Split back to Roman times. Held annually in August, the festival features parades with participants in Roman attire, gladiator fights, and various performances throughout the city, especially around Diocletian's Palace. It's a unique opportunity to experience the city's ancient heritage.

Split Festival (Festival zabavne glazbe Split)

An annual pop music festival held in July, showcasing Croatian music and artists. Established in 1960, it's one of the premier music festivals in the country, featuring performances by renowned musicians and emerging talents.
